Every year we solicit donations for the purchase of Shoeboxes that are forwarded to Samaritan’s Purse for the further distribution of these Shoeboxes to disadvantaged children throughout the world.   Online donations used to purchase Shoeboxes by Samaritan’s Purse affiliates when the need for specific gender / age needs have not been met by the donation of physical Shoeboxes.  The cost is $25 per Shoebox with an optional $6 to cover admin costs.  Donors are asked to go online to Samaritan’s Purse and do a quick search for Malesus UMC so that we get “credit” for the donation.  The goal for 2023 is 20 online Shoeboxes.
