Yes, we have a Pastor – Rev. Dr. Donald F. Carver, Sr.

Rev. Dr. Donald F. Carver, Sr. serves as our lead pastor of Malesus United Methodist Church. He served his first church while going to college and has been in ministry for the last 37 years.

Don received a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Union Bible College, a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University, a Master of Divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership from Ashland Theological Seminary. He is also an Aviation Pilot and FAA Airframe Powerplant Technician.

Don is married. He and Connie have been married for 37 years. They have four children, 3 boys, 1 girl, and 5 grandchildren.  

Don enjoys aviation, hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, horseback riding, motorcycles, playing guitar and a good cup of coffee.

Don’s favorite Bible verse is John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that God gave His only Son, so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
